01 — Who it serves

Built for institutions
that publish.

The documents differ; the stakes do not. A translation carries the institution's name, and it has to hold — in terminology, in tone, in every footnote.

Publishers

The backlist, carried across

  • Monographs and trade titles
  • Theological and academic works
  • Series and backlist programs

A translation is judged beside its original. Voice, structure, and quoted sources have to survive the crossing — at full manuscript length.

Think tanks & institutes

Findings that hold in any language

  • Studies and policy papers
  • Annual outlooks and briefings
  • Commission and conference reports

In a policy paper, a defined term is an argument. Organization glossary terms are enforced sentence by sentence; approved project terms follow the chosen translation mode.

NGOs & foundations

One report, every audience

  • Annual and impact reports
  • Program documentation
  • Position papers and appeals

Donors, partners, and field offices read the same report in different languages. It stays one document — same facts, same commitments — with processing locations disclosed in the current register.

02 — How it reads

One paragraph, read two ways.

Before a job starts, your team chooses its translation mode. Both keep every fact and qualification; they differ in how much of the author's sentence they keep. Read the same passage both ways — source on the left.

Die Verfasser warnen jedoch davor, die Zahlen isoliert zu betrachten: Ein belastbares Bild ergibt sich erst im Zusammenspiel mit den regionalen Erhebungen, deren Methodik im Anhang dokumentiert ist.

The authors warn, however, against considering the figures in isolation: a reliable picture emerges only in interplay with the regional surveys, whose methodology is documented in the appendix.

Keeps the author's clause order, weighting, and exact terminology as far as English allows.

Capabilities

Context

The last page remembers the first

A thousand pages without losing the thread

No sentence is translated in isolation: the pipeline grasps the structure of your entire manuscript before translation begins. Summary, style guidelines, and approved terminology accompany every section — ensuring voice and argument hold across hundreds of pages.

Fidelity

Layout that survives

Formatting, footnotes, and cross-references intact

Eliminate days of reformatting: tables, footnotes, cross-references, and typographic styles in your Word file (.docx) stay exactly where they belong. The finished document returns ready for editorial review, with nothing left to repair.

Control

A translation plan under your control

Set the instructions, resolve real questions, approve each term

Full editorial control before the first word: your reviewers inspect and steer summary, style instructions, and key terms before translation begins. Ambiguities in the source are resolved upfront. Approved organization terms carry forward into all future projects.

Grounding

Quoted sources stay exact

Authoritative wording, never a vague paraphrase

When an approved Bible edition is configured for the target language, the pipeline inserts its authoritative wording instead of paraphrasing it. Available editions depend on the target language and active source inventory.

04 — The process

From draft to publication

Step 1

Upload

Your .docx is prepared into translation-ready sections while formatting, notes, and document structure are preserved.

Step 2

Analyze

The pipeline analyzes the full manuscript, extracting style patterns, key terminology, guidelines, and high-confidence questions for the translation plan.

Step 3

Approve the translation plan

Your team reviews proposed terminology and style instructions, and resolves any source questions. Translation begins only once your team approves the plan.

Step 4

Translate

Each section is translated with full context: summary, style instructions, glossary, and exact source citations. An automated quality review checks the result before the document is rebuilt.

Step 5

Download

The translation is rebuilt into a polished .docx, ready for editorial review.

FAQ

ProsaBridge uses Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) with Single Sign-On. There is no generic sign-up form. When an organization account logs in for the first time, their tenant is provisioned automatically via Just-In-Time (JIT) provisioning, but it remains inactive until our team verifies and activates the organization. Only activated organizations can access the platform.

This is a high-touch B2B process. You request a quote or book a demo with our team. We issue a manual invoice based on your selected word tier. Payment is completed via SEPA wire transfer. Upon receipt, we credit the prepaid words to your organization's Tenant ID in our system.

No. Your prepaid word credits never expire. Use them on your schedule, across as many translation projects as you need.

Currently, ProsaBridge supports Microsoft Word (.docx) files. InDesign (.idml) support is on our roadmap.

ProsaBridge uses the latest XLIFF architecture for 100 % preservation of your document layout. This technology requires the modern .docx format. If you have an old .doc file open in "Compatibility Mode," ProsaBridge automatically disables itself to prevent layout errors. Simply save your document as .docx, and the tool will activate immediately.

The core platform is hosted in Frankfurt, and the public subprocessor register records provider locations and transfer status. Live source documents and translations are removed within 14 days after completion. Separately submitted feedback snapshots are erased on resolution or after 30 days, and database backups rotate after 14 days. Customer documents are not used to train or improve AI models.

ProsaBridge supports bidirectional translation between seven European languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Dutch — and translates from any of them into Chinese, in Simplified and Traditional script. That gives you 49 translation directions. All languages are included with every pricing plan. If you need a language not listed, contact us to discuss your requirements.
